Not only does My gear and me by wyverex take us back to the time of knights, but it also shows us directly what the deviant is into. From the self-made armour to the overall mood, this ID perfectly represents wyverex at first view.

I want to use this deviation to give a more detailed description of my gear and how I put it all together:
First, the coat of arms: This is a black antler on a white shield with a green shield foot.
The helmet is a 14th-century visorless bascinet to which I added the mail collar and internal padding (linen and wool).
The coat of plates is completely self-made and consists of metal plates internally riveted to a green and white coat with thick canvas lining to hold the plates. Check out the other photos of this set to see the lower edge of the coat which is shaped like oak leafs.
I attached decorative leather pieces to the bottom of the knee cops which were in turn attached to the upper thigh armour. The upper thigh armour consists of leather internally riveted metal plates and internal padding.
I'm especially proud of the scale armour parts (vambraces and shoes) which I build myself using roughly 400 scales and 800 rivets. The armour parts I bought and left unmodified are the gauntlets, the greaves and the mail shirt. I also sewed most of the invisible undergarments myself. For example, the red woolen chausses you can also see here wyverex.deviantart.com/art/Ord… or the undershirt and gambeson you can also see here wyverex.deviantart.com/art/Lay…
